Don’t get me wrong, that’s great. I can knit and get paid for it, and that’s the dream, really. But sometimes I miss my own pieces and I’d like to get back to them.
Enter Breanah. It’s a really cute cropped sweater with a lacy panel that follows the raglan increases. I’m using Lang Seraina yarn, which I bought when I was at a PREVIOUS yarn-writing job. I wanted to make a sweater, but I have to be cautious about what I make with this yarn because it’s discontinued and I probably won’t be able to get more. But it’s a cool yarn — there’s a core that almost seems like foam with small fibers woven around it. It makes for a very squishy fabric.
I’m really excited about this piece. It’s a beautiful pattern and, like I said, I’m super into the yarn. I hope to be finished by the time the weather is warmer so I can wear it as soon as possible.
